YT: 8/19/18 Shoutout Sunday #3 : Zack Hample
Wooooo end of the first week of school and I am feeling pumped. Anyways here is a little quick appreciation post for one of my favorite sports-based youtubers Zack Hample.
So if you even like sports you have to have heard of Zack Hample. For those of you that don't, he is a ballhawk, or a person who goes to baseball games like hours early to catch baseballs before or during games. He has caught 10000 balls in his lifetime including like 50 home runs. It is insane. He is known probably for catching A rod's 3000th hit, but yeah he is kinda famous.
Now, I actually got into his videos wayyyy before he hit his subscriber spike after getting all the media attention from catching A rod's 3000th, but it still isn't too late to get in early! He's got like 250000 subs currently and deserves way more.
His videos are absolutely stunning. He has a videographer named Brandon that travels with him to all the games and the footage he gets is beautiful. Like we are talking ultra-hd shots of a man running around the stands catching baseballs.
Besides that, he also always has a unique bit in all his videos where in between batting practice and the game, he goes and gets like the most outrageous or unique food at the park (like one time in Atlanta he got a 24 dollar 3000+ calorie burgerizza - it was insane).
Anyways his personality and charisma in his videos as well as his shocking success rate at catching balls (like 20 years straight of catching a ball at every game) is what makes his videos so entertaining. So go check him out.
