WOO! BIG GAME IS FINALLY OUT! So hyped right now! Yep- apparently the book is already out but whatever- for those who can't afford an extra 24 cents on the exclusive edition, I decided to wait until the official release date to get out the review of an amazing book. Summary: *BANG* On a routine walk for the elephants for them to get some exercise- Teddy (who's been allowed to walk with the elephants in the morning because of his ability to solve the FunJungle's mysteries) his dad and Athmani ( a new employee who's job is to basically help save the rhinos) hear gunshots. And of course, someone was trying to kill Rhonda- one of the last white rhinos killed off for their extremely expensive horns that sell for hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. J.J. McCracken (park owner) instead of deterring Teddy from the case decides to hire him to pave the way for the investigation- before something seriously bad happens. And of course, Summer- J.J.'s daughter who

FANFIC FRIDAY (on a Saturday!) #3: The Erica POV Saga continues yet again!

So you know how I said I was going to make revisions and stuff. Well I didn't finish and I felt like with the revisions I had it wasn't my best so I decided to just make the final revisions an exclusive to the email club only and you guys get the original stuff. Academy Training Grounds February 8 1400 hours I was on my own in the paintball war. Hiding behind the mill, I cocked my paintball gun and got into ready position. . I could’ve gotten the flag and ended the whole paintball war at any time I wanted to, but I figured I could let Ben show off his skills to Zoe- which was starting to get obvious he was growing to like her. They were moving away from the hideout hole, so I had to adjust my position by moving around the mill to get out of their line. They climbed to the top of a hill and I watched as Ben set his gun in the crook of a tree. After a minute or so he glanced behind him. Even through the snow, I could tell it was Chip and his moron friend Hauser running

Oh yeah. I have a blog? *UPDATE*

Let's cut to the chase. So you guys realize two things: 1: Tirade/Top Ten Tuesday never showed up but whatever that's fine. 2. WHERE THE ******** IS FANFIC FRIDAY WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT (or something like that) Ok so basically for the past week I ignored my blog because I was hunkering down on my studies. Why you ask? Well first of all- good grades equal a happy me. Second of all- Stuart Gibbs is coming to town. Nope not Santa Claus (well you could make an argument that they're the same but anyway) but Stuart Gibbs: The Man. The Myth. The Legend. On Tuesday (yep that  Tuesday. The day Big Game comes out) he'll be making an appearance at a Dallas Barnes & Noble: A reading and a signing. Before I spend the rest of the post explaining how this is so much more important to me than this blog: *ADVERTISMENT ALERT* If you or a loved on love Stuart Gibbs (so...everyone) then come to the Barnes and Noble at The Stonebriar center in Dallas- 2601 Preston Road

Spy School: The first review REVISITED

Image
So I went through all my old posts and realized a Spy School review was my first post. But it was horrible. ONe short jumbled up paragraph with no meaning or opinion to it. And while you guys have already decided to create your own opinions on the book, I figured it was time to review it truly. Summary: Benjamin Ripley, a 12 year old living your average middle school life is being recruited for a science academy, secretly a spy school. Oh it's just another typical recruitment with a top-notch spy appearing in your living room after a long day of school. Ben has a "cryptography" skill and even though he bombs his SACSA's (basically a pre-assesement in self-preservation) he's kept in the school because of his "talent" for cryptography. Along the way he meets Erica Hale- the most beautiful girl he's ever seen, the best student in spy school's history, and a legacy (she's even related to all time spy legend Nathan Hale) But the introverted isol

If you're coming on my blog looking for a review the one I promised on Sunday is coming out late for...reasons. I'll get it out at around 8 ET or 7CT because of school and various after school activities. And since this post won't serve any more use later on I'll delete it tonight. Keep calm and be swawesome!

FanFic Friday #2: The Erica POV saga continues...!

Wow! The response to the last FanFic was incredible! In one week 46 views and 6 freakin' comments? You guys seem to love this stuff so here you go, more of the FanFic. The first scene is from last week to refresh your mind and the second scene is....well just read it. January 16, 1820 hours Mess Hall I’d become immune to everyone the first day I got here. They all wanted to talk to me, but I couldn’t eavesdrop on anyone if I had a hundred boys wanting to ask me out and a hundred girls talking about the latest spy fashion. It was too much. I marked my claim on 4 th row table 5 th from last a long time ago- close to the center table so that I could hear everyone but far enough from it I wasn’t in the center- which would be horrifying. Chip and his goons rushed Ben. Knowing his skills, I was antsy to just get up, whip out my stun gun and fire some darts. But of course to keep cover, I had to stay still so I plunged my nose even deeper into a textbook I already memo
