YT: 8/26/18 Shoutout Sunday #4: Pleasant Green

Week number 4, sort of an in between post between the BTS hype, probably will throw up a review of Serendipity or something tomorrow, but today is SHOUTOUT SUNDAYYYYY woo get hyped.

Anyways, today's weekly shoutout is to one of my favorite channels: Pleasant Green. Sounds like a dumb name, but bare with me.

This guy's name is Ben and his channel is about exposing scammers. But here's the thing, it's not like those videos you see already where the footage is super grainy and the audio is awful. His videos are like SUPER high quality. Like the camera is sharper than a knife and I'm pretty sure he uses an external mic because it is very quality.

Past the quality of the content, the content itself is SUPER entertaining. He has two series, one of which is called "Lie-beria". It's basically about this guy named Joel who originally messaged him trying to scam him, but through the series, we see that Joel is not a scammer, but is just in need of some help. Ben takes us throught he captivating story of his contact with Joel, and I'm not going to spoil too much, but it's just a story told in such a unique way. One thing I kind of like and hate about his videos is that they're always short and end on a really bad cliffhanger, like it just makes me wish I had watched the series in one go because I'm on the edge of my seat and boom get hit with he cliffhanger. All part of Ben's method of drawing the viewer in.

He also currently has a series going on where he is in contact with a man named Emmanual Lucas who originally tried to scam him by making him cash a phony check and now currently it seems like he is going down the same path as Joel.

Anyways, I think i got a little off topic. Here's what you need to know. His videos are so entertaining. Like the stories that he tells are so unique, unlike anything on YouTube, and while he exposes scammers, he takes us through the entire process, almost putting us in his shoes. Yeah they may sound dumb but the first few videos of Lie-beria are like 2 to 3 minutes each. PLEASE check them out, but be warned: once you've watched one, you can't stop until you've seen them all.
