Jack Strong Takes A Stand: Fighting for Your Rights the Easy and Fun Way

Hey guys! I'm sorry about not posting lately, because I'm starting to get really busy, but without further ado, here is the review of Jack Strong Takes A Stand.  Jack Strong Takes A Stand, is probably one of Tommy Greenwald's best books to date. This is a story about middle-school-aged kid Jack Strong, who is like every other kid, except for one thing. Unlike most kids, his schedule is way overbooked, to the point where he has almost no break points in the day. Jack has to deal with it, because his parents force him too, but Jack eventually starts to get really mad. His Crush, Cathy Billows, is hosting a party, and she wants everyone invited, including Jack. Now this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Jack, because he was not the kind to get invited to parties. But his parents say NO!, because he has a cello recital. Jack is mad, but he knows he must has to go. Later, after Jack wins the world series for his team, when they go to celebrate, Jack cant go, because his ...

Middle School: Get Me Out Of Here By: James Patterson- The Adventures of Rafe Continue

Rafe is back! and, with an all new and exciting adventure. Because the diner his mom used to work at burned to the ground, Jules is not bringing in any money, meaning that they cant pay their rent. This forces them to move away into the city to live with their Aunt Dotty. Rafe's new art school in the city is weird from the start, with a kid named Matty-The-Freak, who's basically the weird type of kid who you'd rather have as a friend than an enemy. Rafe likes the kid, because he's really smart in figuring out how to pull pranks, so together they start an operation called Operation: Get A Life, which involves Rafe trying to get a life. He is really liking this kid, because he is helping him pull pranks around the whole school. And during this, Rafe decides that he wants to know where his missing dad is. Matty of course, comes up with a plan to help Rafe. Things are going great for Rafe, until one day. On this day, Matty gets in big trouble, like deal-with-the-cops trou...

Happy End of School to All!: This is To The Guy Who Absolutely HATES School

Happy end of school everybody! I hope you guys enjoyed your school year, and to celebrate, here's a review Charlie Joe Jackson's Guide to Extra Credit: Starring the guy who absolutely hated school. Here goes.  Its report card day! But Charlie Joe is really mad. He has C's and B-'s and his parents threaten to send him to a nightmare camp, a one where kids *gulp* LIKE to read books. It is a horrible camp called Camp Rituhbukkee(pronounced camp read-a-bookie). But Charlie Joe gives his parents a deal: if he can get straight A's, then he won't have to go the the camp. His parents agree to this and Charlie Joe now realizes now that he needs a huge miracle to get straight A's. So he seeks to his awesome sister Megan, and she has two words for him: Extra Credit. So he ends up asking his teachers for extra credit, but they give him crazy tasks like posing for a painting, and working for the SGC. He somehow survives this, in the process finding a girl who he likes a...

Poached: The Way Better Cousin of Belly Up

Yes, I'm still going to hold of on ESS prediction part 2 because A), no one's comment about it, saying they want it and B), I'd still like to the suspense to build up even more. But in the meantime, here's a review on another great Stuart Gibbs book, Poached.  Poached is the story about the continuous, dangerous adventures of ol' Teddy Fitzroy. When his bully from school, Vance Jessup, dares him to throw mannequin body parts into shark tank to spook the sharks, he gets caught by "Large Marge", and is now in shallow waters with the cops. And when FunJungle's new animal, Kazoo the Koala, is stolen, all the cops' eyes point to Teddy. Even though there is proof that he snuck in the koala exhibit and out, Teddy states that it's only because he was hiding from the cops. It was true, but because of the  previous incident, the cops don't believe him. So he gets a call from Summer(who's almost 2500+ miles away), who says that he must investigat...

Losing It: One of the Best Inspirational Stories Ever

Now for all the poeple who were expecting ESS predition part 2, I'm sorry, but I'm going to hold off on that unless someone comments that they want it. But for now here's a review on the fabulous book, Losing It. Here goes.  Losing It by: Erin Fry is an amazing book! This is a story about 13-year-old Bennet Johnson who is extremely overweight. He is living his life almost 300 pounds, and the foods he eats aren't exactly healthy. And this comes back to haunt him, because on one faithful afternoon, when his dad and him are sitting on the couch, eating cheeseburgers and watching a dodgers game, his dad has a stroke, and he is carted away by ambulances to a hospital. So he is forced to stay with his Aunt Laura and his Uncle Jim, who's idea's of fun are running a few miles at the crack of dawn, and eating a healthy breakfast(not exactly Bennet's paradise). But he has one thing going for him, his also overweight friend P.G., who cheers him up through this. But o...
